The 3rd Annual Sports Meet 2025–2026 of Aditya Arts & Science College (Aditya Institute of Management, Science and Research) was held on 26th February 2026 (Thursday) at the college campus with great enthusiasm and vibrant participation from students across all departments.
The event was conducted in the distinguished presence of our esteemed dignitaries, including Shri. C. Anandane, Founder – Aditya Group of Institutions; Shri. Ashok Anand, Chairman – Aditya Group of Institutions; Smt. Anudha Poonamalle and Smt. Arthi Anandane, Trustees – Sri Vidyanarayana Educational Trust.
The programme was graced by the Chief Guest, Dr. M. Elayaraja, Professor & Director of Sports, Department of Physical Education & Sports, Pondicherry University, Puducherry, who inspired the students with his motivating address on sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork. The Sports Day was organized by the Students’ Council Members, whose dedicated planning and teamwork ensured the smooth execution of the event. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. L. Aruna, Principal, and Dr. K. Chandraleka, Physical Education Director, whose continuous support and encouragement motivated students to actively participate and excel in various events.
The Sports Meet featured a variety of track and field events, indoor and outdoor competitions, and an impressive march past by the student houses. Participants displayed remarkable energy, dedication, and competitive spirit throughout the event.
We are proud to announce that the Green House Team won the Overall Championship Trophy this year, securing the highest points across various events through outstanding performance and teamwork. Their consistent efforts, coordination, and determination truly reflected the spirit of sportsmanship. The Annual Sports Meet concluded successfully with the prize distribution ceremony, celebrating the achievements of all winners and participants. The event once again reinforced the importance of physical fitness, unity, and leadership among students.
